Zouk N Play's official destination is Atlantic City during the summer, where there is a playground of fun coupled with Zouk, Yoga, and Dance. It is going to be an amazing time!
Zouk N Play Festival, brought to you by Founders (Ryel Velandia and Leslie Evangelista Tietjen) of the successful NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL and creator/director of ZenZouk LLC is one of the FRESEHEST new summer events on the East Coast, situated on the beach and boardwalk of Atlantic City.
Zouk N Play Festival will focus on MOVEMENT, FLOW PATTERNS, and CONNECTION. A little different kind of festival with a whole lot of love!!! Sun, sand, towering resort hotels, the bustling Boardwalk, the awe-inspiring Atlantic -- this is one beach retreat you don’t want to miss. The Atlantic City, New Jersey beaches are famous, and rightly so. Everything you could possibly want is right here within walking distance, from shops to five-star restaurants to casinos, attractions and great shows -- all benefits of being one of the few American beaches with boardwalks. We can't wait to have you here at Zouk N Play - Who is Zouk N Play for:
- Beginner Students - Looking to dance, participate in yoga, movement, flow, classes, and those looking to experience coming into a zouk community in a comfortable environment. Over 10 Hours of Training, parties, exploration, Q&A and more individualized attention. ZENZOUK Fundamentals will be given by Ry'el and Jessica from New York City. Syllabus and playlist is inlcluded.
- Intermediate/Advanced Students - Workshops are currently being formed that will be suitable to advance your skills including supplemental movement and flow classes. Topics will cover counter balancing, one legged spins, smooth entry and exit transitions, musicality, weight transfer, connection, Brazilian Zouk techniques, LamabaZouk turn patterns (soltinho variations), open and closed hand hold moves, switching hand patterned leads, etc, etc. If you want us to cover a topic, please email us at [email protected].

- ZoukNPlay Summer Pass Holders (Intermediate/Advanced) over 15 Hours of workshops including Yoga, Flow, and movement clases, and parties. (ZenZouk Fundamentals are not included in this pass)
- ZoukNPaly Zoukini Pass Holders (Beginners or Fresh students) over 15 Hours of workshops including Yoga, and movement classes, and parties.
- ZenZouk Teacher Training Pass Holders - over 11 hours of training plus an additional 10 hours of workshops
